Aqplot -- Compositional Diagrams Used in Aqueous Geochemistry

This software is in alpha status and has not been released to CRAN.

Synopsis

The aqplot package will provide a simple methods for the construction of Piper, Stiff, and Durov plots.

Note that the USGS S-Plus package currently contains piper and stiff plotting function. However, this code will not work in R. Furthermore, it currently can not be ported to R due to dependencies on non-free S-Plus software.

Currently we are evaluating the use of grid package as the common framework for aqplot plotting routines.
